Meanwhile, elsewhere....

On Changing religions:
Chuck Norris vs. Oprah Winfrey
Hat tip to Frank Turk for the above story.

Free (?) Speech In Canada:
-This is what happens when "Tolerance" is given the force of Law. Free speech? Here in Canada, you are free to say exactly what your government says you can say.
-(Just ask Ezra Levant. Ezra was the subject of a "Human Rights" (heavy irony noted) Commission investigation. He was forced to pay crushing legal fees (while his accuser was funded by the taxpayer), because his paper ran "The Cartoon". The case was eventually dropped,(under public pressure) but he had been expected to PROVE HE WAS INNOCENT.)

This 'n' that:
Rebecca Stark is a good read, especially for her theological definitions.

Great British satire, (from the Telegraph) lampooning the Archbishop's talent for articulating elaborate nothings. (Thank-you Doug Wilson for the link.)

U.S. Politics & Religion:
-Spoof of Obama claiming Sermon on the Mount supports homosexual union.
-A serious article on same.

-Wearing a Crucifix now "Gang-related behaviour"... 2 students in Oregon suspended.

THIS JUST IN... SIN IS BAD:

Now, apparently the Vatican wants to remind you that sin is, in fact BAD. So bad, in fact, that they have revised the list of what can send a soul to hell. The new sin list is supposed to emphasize how sinning hurts other people.

Funny, aren't they supposed to be reminding us that sin is an act of treason against a Holy God?

"The son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. '" (Luke 15:21)
